AN INTERACTION SESSION BETWEEN GERMAN TEAM AND CMSM STUDENTS

Interaction Session of German team with the students of CMS Mangattuparamba was conducted as a part of the Academic Exchange Programme with kannur university on 9th Nov 2015 at CMSM seminar hall. Where an exchange of information about the culture, dressing styles and various other things between the Germans and students has took place……

    And the students also presented various cultural programmes like Thiruvathira, Kawali, Nagappattu…. For their beloved guests….. 

ACADEMIC EXCHANGE PROGRAMME OF KANNUR UNIVERSITY

   A German delegation from the Calw and Reidlingen Universities is visiting Kannur University as part of an academic exchange programme.

The delegation led by Nils H. Birschmann, Director of SRH Holding and Head of SRH Corporate Communications, began its visit on November 2 as part of the student and faculty exchange pact between the Kannur University and the two German universities managed by the SRH Holding.

SRH Holding is a German foundation that runs nine universities, 13 hospitals and several educational institutions in Europe and South-America, according to delegation members.

“For almost 10 years we have a partnership with the Kannur University based on a memorandum of understanding,” Mr. Birschmann told .

Most of the students in the team are MBA graduates or those from media and communications management.

The German team will attend the month-long academic and non-academic events being organised by the Kannur University’s Department of Management Studies (DMS). The team will also visit educational and other institutions in the State and in the neighbouring States.

The exchange programme started in 2006.

The tie-up has had its origin in 2002 when then Vice-Chancellor late P.K. Rajan visited Calw in Germany as part of a delegation from here to attend the International Hermann Hesse Festival.

Dr. Rajan had then mooted the proposal for the tie-up then.

   

 The German team visited District Collector P. Bala Kiran in his office here on Monday ,the 9^TH NOVEMBER 2015.            

   

     Mr. Kiran explained to the team about the online government services, digital filing system and literacy activities in the State. DMS faculty members P.T. Raveendran and U. Faisal were also accompanied them.

     THE NAME “ACCOLADE 2k15” WAS OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED BY HIM ON 4^th November 2015 AT THE CENTRE FOR MANAGEMENT STUDIES, KANNUR UNIVERSITY CAMPUS MANGATTUPARAMBA…

     ACCOLADE 2k15 IS THE BATTLE OF KNOWLEDGE WHICH PROVIDE THE MOST CHALLENGING EVENTS WHERE FUTURE MANAGERS CAN TEST AND DEVELOP THEIR VARIOUS MANAGERIAL SKILLS. 

                            THE NEW MBA BATCH FOR 2015-17 WAS INAUGURATED

The inaugural ceremony of the MBA Batch (2015-17) of Kannur University was conducted in a grand manner on 01.10.2015.
Dr. T Asokan, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Kannur University was the Chief Guest. All the newly admitted students and their parents actively participated in the function. In the inaugural address, the PVC stressed the importance of acquiring new skills by the Management students and promised all support from the side of University. Dr. U Faisal, Head, Department of management studies Kannur University presided over the function. He wished the students a great career and success in their personal life. The Asst. Director Vidhusekhar P of Mangattuparamba campus delivered the welcome speech and the programme was felicitation by Shri Shashikumar, director of ICM Parashinikadavu Campus. Shri K Balakrishnan Asst. Director Centre for MBA Nileshwaram Campus expressed the vote of thanks. The function came to an end at 12.30 pm and it was followed by Day 1 Induction Training Programme by the Mark Antony (Maestro Human Resource Pvt. ltd.). The Induction Training Programme will be continued till 3rd of October 2015.

HE TOOK A SEMINAR ON THE TOPIC "TOILING CLASS THEORY,BEYOND COMMUNISM".

THE INDUCTION PROGRAMME OF 2012-14 BATCH WAS INAUGURATED BY DR U FAISAL, HOD, DMS, PALAYAD.

A SEMINAR ON "MANAGEMENT THOUGHT AND PRACTICES, AN INDIA
AN PERSPECTIVE" WAS INAUGURATED BY VICE CHANCELLOR DR KHADER MANGAD. DR K GOPALA KRISHNAN PRESENTED THE TOPIC.
