CMS STUDENTS HAVE ATTENDED THE SEMINAR ON "YOUTH & DEVELOPMENT"


A seminar was conducted in the newly inaugurated Cherusseri auditorium situated within the central library, Kannur university with the topic “Youth and Development”.
It was held on 2nd March 2016 under the auspicious of Information & Public Relations Department and Youth welfare board of Kannur district and Centre for Management Studies, Mangattuparamba.

Kannur university Vice chancellor, Mr. Khader mangad has inaugurated the function, Kerala state youth welfare board Kannur district co-ordinator, Mr. Arjun palayad has made the welcome speech. Kannur university Registrar, Mr. Balachandran Keezhoth has given an introductory speech and district information officer Mr. EV Sugathan has presided over the function.
Kannur Technolodge MD, Mr. Nithin Madhav and Chairman, Mr. KPK Nambiar, Academic expert, Mr. P Vidhusekhar has done speech on the topic.

“The developments achieves the meaningfulness only if the people are become satisfied along with the developing infrastructure. Efficient and innovative ideas are mainly contributed by the youngsters. If they are provided with adequate support from Governments and universities, then it will be fruitful to our country and people.
Our government has created such an environment in nowadays through the projects like, Startup villages and student entrepreneurship. And Kannur university has started a business incubation centre first among the whole kerala with the same objective.” Hon: VC has pointed out.

Respected registrar of Kannur university, Mr. Balachandran keezhoth said that, “The developmental thoughts of new generation of kerala is totally different from that of old societies and on previous years, the state of kerala has created an imitative development model”.

Technolodge, Kannur MD, Mr.Nithin madhav has done a wonderful speech about the startups. He said that;
“The present environment of kerala is much suitable for the new entrepreneurs. And kerala is the first state where a clear startup policy has formed and implemented in India. And the industrial growth will takes place only if there exists clear policies.
   Also various financial assistance schemes from the financial institutions like; Kerala Finance Corporation and newly declared tax concessions for 3 years and special assistance to the women entrepreneurs also opened the door of opportunities for new entrepreneurs. And now the Technolodge, Kannur is having 17 IT companies working with them”

Academic expert Mr. P Vidhusekhar has noted that, “ The state can today achieve the growth only by including all categories of people along with the infrastructure development. And the new entrepreneurs have to exploit the possibilities of it.”

“A new venture can acquire registration within the short period of 24 hours in today’s digital Kerala. Also Kannur has brought up to the international level with the facilities like; Proposed International Airport . All these clearly depict the possibilities for new entrepreneurs.”- Technolodge Chairman, Mr. KPK Nambiar stated.


“The actual consumers of development are the young generation, today Kerala itself providing opportunities and it’s large scale dependence towards other states have starts reducing”- District Information Officer, Mr. EV Sugathan said.

Mrs.Komal Anand, Assistant director of CMS, Mangattuparamba has given vote of thanks to the gathering.


The Technolodge team has also invited the students of CMS to have a visit to the Kannur Technolodge.
